March 14
Today we buried my Grandpa. It by far was the hardest day of the whole process. However, he has a beautiful spot right on the water (a pond or lake of some sort) I bet it is beautiful when all the trees are in bloom. I remember when he moved to ocean front property. He told me that he loved to open the door to watch and listen to the waves. He later moved to Port Orange to a beautiful home, but he always talked about moving back to the ocean. It is not the ocean, but his final resting place is by the water. Sean was one of the paul bearers (how do you even spell that?) and apparently there was a tree in their path that made it very difficult to place my grandpa on the casket stand. After the nice luncheon, Sean and I went back home and I took a quick nap. Then we headed over to my parents where some of the friends from church made all kinds of food. The picture of the day is of my Aunt Denise's lovely crew.
