April 24,
Sean hooked Gavin up with the bike trailer to his truck. Sometime I wonder about him, but Gavin is super content with the pinwheel at Grandma and Grandpas!

April 23,
Why do I have the feeling this will not be the last time I see Gavin in a tree...

April 22,
Gavin and Grace (Don't you think that would be a cute name for a kids book?) are little buddies although they definitely play the boy and girl game. Grace tries to grab his attention and Gavin runs away. I think this picture is super funny since Gavin rarely cries. I couldn't quite figure out what his deal was. I think he was ready to go home and take a nap. The past few days he has been a little out of sorts random crying, clinging, and kind of whinny. Low and behold Gavin cut his first molar.

April 21
Gavin and I went to Archivers and dropped some serious cash on...scrapbooking supplies. Someone needs to take away my debit card. Sean went to home depot and then we met inside the mall to buy Gavin a new pair of kicks from Stride Rite. He went up an entire size in less than 3 months! We had to have the shoes shipped since they didnt have the ones we wanted. I felt super guilty jamming his tootsies in the those little shoes! Later we had an adventure at home with paint.

April 20,
Sean and Gavin hung out at Grandma's for a little today. Gavin is our little musician. He loved banging on the keyboard. Can you say future rock star?

April 19,
I love this picture of Gavin. He is sporting one of the cloth diapers in our stash, which I have been slowly building. Gavin and I had a pretty productive at home. We even did grocery shopping for us and Nana and Papi since they are sick and we went to Target for a few random items. This was such a great weekend!

April 18,
What a beautiful day! THis is what we have been waiting for! I was even able to squeeze in a run outdoors! We finished up the beautiful day by going to mainstreet in Hudson to do some shopping and go to dinner. We got Gavin a smoothie from Cali Juice his favorite. He can easily drink 16 oz! I needed today

April 17,
It was a beautiful day today so Sean was able to get yard work done, which he loves. (I think it is therapeutic for him) However he did butcher our tree...Hopefully it will still have its beautiful bloom.

April 15,
I love the days that Sean and I are home together. This week we were home Tues and Wed. I LOVE IT! The weather was not too bad so we were able to squeeze in a walk. Doesn't it look like Gavin is jumping from the deck? Sean is throwing him in the air... a little to high for my taste...

April 14,
Gavin and I took a shower in the down stairs bathroom and I put his water table in there. He had a blast. I can't wait for the weather to be warmer and he can play with this outside!

April 13,
This is how I decided to organize Gavin's toys in the family room. (Have I ever mentioned I love grids?) I absolutely love this cubes from Target (Itso brand) What I really love is that I can add cubes as we add toys for Gavin and they are very reasonable in price!

April 12,
HE HAS RISEN! Happy Easter! We had a very nice day. We went to church and dinner at my parents. Gavin sure is a lucky little boy to get so many gifts! He really enjoyed the Easter Egg so much so we hid the egg a couple of time. He actually put his egg in the basket and threw his basket over his shoulder!

102/365

April 11
I worked half a day and then did some errands with the boys. I put the last few things inside Gavin's Easter basket for tomorrow.

Rajah and Malakai are truly buds which is a good thing because they have taken a little bit of a back seat in our lives since Gavin. We still love them as much though!

April 9,
Boys day while Mama was at work...

APRIL 8
Whose bright ideas was it to go to the Children's Museum on spring break week? (I think it was mine...) We only stayed for 45 minutes which is the nice option of having a yearly pass. It was so crowded and there was a day camp there too. Gavin had his first encounter with a bully. While Gav was sitting on my lap steering the car some random kid just came up and hit him a couple times on the head. Gavin was surprised and complexed that he just looked at the kid with a look that said What did you do that for. He just went back driving the car. I had to hold my breath not to laugh...

April 7
I was suppose to work half a day today but I worked from 7-1:30 because I had a TON of paper work to do. Gavin and I hung out the rest of the day while Sean was at work. We are slowly making a switch to cloth diapering as Gavin was modeling the green all in one. This is something I had been considering for the past 7 months and I finally decided to try. I wish I would have done this sooner!! It is way easier than I could have expected AND IT IS GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND FOR GAVIN'S SKIN!

April 6
Seriously?? Snow?? Augh!!! Excuse me but it is APRIL AND IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE SPRING! Super busy day at work today and I left early to meet Gavin and Sean at the new pediatrician's office for his one year visit. I think we have finally found our pediatrician. Sean and I both liked her and she was good with Gavin. However, she was concerned about his weight. He is quite the heffer weighing in at 17 lbs and 7 oz. He is off his curve and I think the chart for weight but in the 60% for height. (I wanted to say to her...do you see my husband??) Not that this is any big surprise to us. She had a discussion about the kinds of food Gav should be eating which is hilarious because Gavin is already eating the foods she is talking about and then some. She was surprised to hear the grains he eats (millet, quinoa, brown rice etc.) all kinds of legumes and excellent vegetables brussel sprouts, broccoli kale, asparagus, spinach, etc and lots of protein chicken, tofu, ground turkey etc. Plus he is still getting breast milk, formula, cow's milk and goats milk and all of the fruit he eats constantly. The kid can not be eating any better. She finally did say that obviously he is getting what he needs nutritionally as he is way beyond 12 months in motor development and speech. So....she will continue to monitor him and we are making an appointment for an echo with a peds cardiology as it is a possibility that he has a slight murmur which could be effecting his weight gain. Well it is all a process...

April 5,
Today we took Gavin to his first CAVS game. Little did we know, but it was kid appreciation day. Sean bought awesome seats, but I was a little nervous about Gavin sitting through an entire game. He is such a mover. He did great! He was fascinated with everything and he was a huge hit with everyone especially the CAVS cheerleaders! He was very charming in his CAVS warm up outfit and onesie. He even ended up on the jumbo tron. We had a great time!

April 4,
Seriously?? Our spare bedroom actually looks like this?? Cleaning our spare room was the project Gavin and I worked on this afternoon. Gavin helped by putting my dirty socks in his garbage can. Apparently, Gavin thought they were trash. I was able to pull out summer clothes for Gavin, put away items that don't fit, and completely cleaned this room. Now, when Sean is finished with molding, we will move our bedroom furniture in here so we can start working on our bedroom.

April 3,
Another prove that I love grids! We bought this last summer and I finally bought baskets for the console the other day. Once Sean is finished putting molding in the sunroom. He will be putting molding in the foyer and hallway and finish replacing the bedroom doors. Not much I can really do to help but I do think the console table needs a mirror and scounces!

April 2,
What a beautiful day! It was close to 70 and sunny. Why can't Cleveland weather be this way every day? I had to go to work today, but Gavin and Sean had a great day. They went to the park and went for a few walks with the dogs. When I got home (and I was able to leave early today) we took the dogs on a mini walk and then just the three of us took a long walk on the tow path without the dogs. Rajah really can't tolerate a long walk anymore.

April 1,
Gavin and I had a very productive day today. It always helps me when the weather is nice sunny and kind of warm. I did a ton of organizing, running errands, and cleaning. However, before all this occurred numerous times this morning I wish I had my camera handy. Gavin was hilarious this morning being a little mimic and being super charming. I did catch this...The red cube is where we keep some of his toys. Well Gavin somehow figured a way to climb inside. He is our little monkey!!

March 31,
Happy 30th Birthday Sean! We had a low key day with Sean opening his presents and cake and ice cream. This is very unlike me but I am sick of cake! Too much cake in a week!

March 30,
Can you even make out this picture? It is so blurry but it is my picture of the day taken at Rock Bottom Brewery with Sean's camera phone. ( I am bummed that I forgot our other camera.) After work today, I met Sean downtown because he was volunteering his time to raise money for ACBC, an organization that raises money for children victims of burns. I am so proud of him. He takes alot of pride in his career and he is great at what he does.

March 29,
Today was Gavin's first birthday. There was a few minor glitches like Gavin not taking an afternoon nap (and he is usually such a good napper) and Sean and I not picking up the small baby cake prior to the bakery closing, but it was a great day. Gavin despite being tired was his charming self. Surprisingly he really was not into eating his cake! I think he preferred his Casada cake from Baronas!

March 28,
Another busy day prepping for Gavin's birthday. Sean and I finished our errands while Gavin hung out at Nana and Papi's. Sean and I talked alot about what projects we would like to work on. This really got me thinking about doing some spring cleaning and organizing. (I love to organize although it is much harder now with Gavin on the move) I have decided that I love grids and squares and there is proof through out my house. One thing I love about working now (and not being in school!) too is I get to spend some money and decorate my house. Here is one example of a "grid". (As Gavin grows taller the more and more has to go higher!)

We had a busy day today. We got Gavin's 1 year pictures taken and completed some errands for his party. Sean and I went on a date this evening too! We met some friends for dinner, went to the CAVS game, and then met up again after the game. It was a good day!
