256

After Rory and I completed a massive hill run (the second time this week), we made chocolate covered pretzels for Aurelija's baby shower tomorrow. Of course they were pink for the pretty pink theme.

255

My favorite take out is burgers from Red Robin. Instead of fries Gavin ate broccoli and we ate salad, but I sure do love those burgers!

254

Sean's project this week was hanging our photo collage. I decided to hang a few pictures of our favorite places that we have been. Sean is truly a perfectionist. The pictures needed to be perfectly aligned as a result the project took awhile, but it looks great!

253

During summer I added some organic fertilizer to a few of our plants. I have really seen a difference in the flowers by our mailbox. The plant is producing more flowers and it is way bigger than last year.

252

Sept 8
Fall is my favorite time of year. Nothing says fall like mums! I love the way these look in our yard.

251

Sept 7
Gavin was so tired from playing at Nana and Papi's today that he was sleeping at 6:30pm and did not wake up until 8:30 the next day!

250

SEPTEMBER 6,
Hi-ho, hi-oh, off to Nana's we go. Gavin is sleeping at Nana's tonight because Sean and I are working tomorrow. We rode our bikes with the pack and play strapped to the trailer and next to Gavin was Nana's food tote from our delivery. I am sure we were quite a site.

249

Some days one nap is not quite enough so as we approach the afternoon Gavin is quite tired!

248

Gavin new favorite activity is watching Sesame Street and "rocka" as Gavin calls it on his rocking horse. He only watches about 15 min worth, but enjoys it all the same.

247

What a face! I love this boy!

246

This is Gavin's potty. He has pee-pee twice on the potty this week. Such a big boy!

245

This week we have officially gone down to one long nap in the afternoon. I finally feel that we can get stuff done in the am. We have also started the pre potty training phase. We have been talking about pee-pee on the potty. Gavin wears the baby legs so we don't fuss with taking down pants. Isn't he cute?

244

Gavin still loves wearing everyone else's shoes.

243

We went to Target twice today. This was coming home from our second time. We also stopped at home depot to get new shelves for my closet. Gavin was stuck in between the stuff.

242

The Hello Goodbye window. When people are leaving and Gav is a little sad life is made better by watching them leave out the window especially when Daddy leaves in the fire car and puts on the lights.

241

We headed to Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley Concert while Gavin went to spend the night at Grandmas. We had fun got back late and had a big sick dog mess to clean up when we came home. We both had to work Saturday morning. Not even close to enough sleep!

240

Why won't he just sit and eat? We have to lock him into his high chair or this is what he does.

239

A new twist to the bed time routine. Gavin now lays in bed with me and we read atleast 6 books before he climbs into his bed. I love the new routine.

238

Look out world Gavin has learned to open the door...

237

Gavin is 17 months and we finally have turned his car seat around. He has some more room to go in my car, but there is no leg room for him in Sean's truck so we decided to be consistent in both vehicles.

236

Gavin and Grace at Great Wolf Lodge. Aren't they sweet?

235

What you may ask? Oh this was a major mistake by Mama. We are headed to Great Wolf Lodge this afternoon and was hoping Gavin would take a nap before we left. Well I couldn't figure out why Gavin became very quiet for 30 min and then started talking up a storm saying uh-oh, uh-oh. I put Gavin to sleep without pants on. He took off his diaper threw it in the hamper and well I think the picture explains the rest. He did sleep in the car ride and we had fun at the water park the rest of the day.

234

I got home before Sean and Gavin today. So I enjoyed eating my lunch of Sean's delicious lasagna and broccoli for an entire 30 minutes, read a little bit and drank some coffee all by myself. A little piece of heaven!

233

Just in time. Gavin Rajah, and I just got back from a walk when it all of sudden started to pour of course Gavin wanted to play outside anyway.

232

More breakfast pictures. This is Gavin's favorite breakfast Chicken sausage with apples and gouda, eggs and green peppers. I think this is Sean's favorite too.

231

Gavin and I are organizing his toys. Grandma picked up lego blocks at a yard sale. I cleaned them and put them into one of the storage containers.

230

Breakfast is a big deal around here. It tends to be the largest meal of the day. Today Gavin was eating fruit and banana, flaxseed, whole wheat pancakes with organic maple syrup. Yumo!

229

I skipped a day...Today we went swimming at Aunt Lala's. Gavin prefers to run around the pool and throw toys into it.

227

We visited Sean at the fire house. Gavin as always, was interested in the fire trucks and lights, but didn't want the heavy helmet on his head.

226

A picture taken yesterday. Gavin loving the dinosaurs.

225

I headed off to work today and Sean, Gavin, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Gary headed to the zoo. Gavin was really interested in the dinosaurs. He loved to growl back!

224

The three of us headed to Elmwood Park before Gavin's afternoon nap. Another one of Gavin's favorite places.

223

Nothing says summer like ice cream!

222

It was such a beautiful day we headed to Tinkers Creek. I am pretty sure Gavin would have spent the entire day there. He was so interested in picking up every single rock and throwing it into the water. Oh the little things in life are such pleasures.

221

We have had such a low census at work which has allowed me to be home alot this summer. Being home means using cloth diapers frequently resulting in an increase in laundry.

220

When Sean came home from riding we walked to Yours Truly for dinner. Gavin was not so interested in eating. He just wanted to play at the train table and flirt with the waitresses. The waitress randomly told us that she thought he looked like such a mix of the two of us. Most people say Gavin looks like Sean.

219

Sean is going four wheeling and on their way driving in the camper they will be dropping off Carrie and the boys at the Akron Airport, but not before Gavin "drove" the camper.

218

A serious obsession in which he throws a major fit whenever we go outside for anything he has to go in it. If we go for a walk afterwards he insists on playing in the car.

217

Sean found this car in his parents garage. Apparently he bought it for a dollar years ago at a Reminderville auction and forgot about it. It is currently Gavin's obsession.

216

We ate pizza at Carol and Bob's. Carrie and the boys will be leaving for Florida this week. I love this picture of all the kiddos.

215

Currently my favorite dessert Breyer's vanilla ice creams and orange sorbet. Yum!

214

Yesterday, I received a phone call from my dad to come and say goodbye to Chip. He is the first dog that we have had that has truly been a family dog. He was such a lover dog that adored his family. It was hard to say goodbye, but I am grateful that my mom, my dad, Eddie and I were there with him. I have had enough of death for one year.

On a happier note, Sean and I drove to PA for my girlfriend Jen's wedding. Isn't she beautiful?

213

Today was Robert Lee Chamberlin Sr funeral. Since he is being cremated and not a religious person there was not a mass and the funeral service was different. Carrie and Sarah gave nice speeches. Sarah had asked everyone to write a favorite memory in a book and read from it. I could not hear most of the speeches as I was in the back with Gavin. Gavin wanted nothing to do with sitting and I wanted Sean to be able to focus on his Grandpa.

212

I love, love this picture. It was only taken a few weeks ago at Dan and Sheila's party. The older we get it is obvious that the more people we know die. Even though it is hard all I can hope is that I cherish the moments I have and the old die before the young. Carpe Diem...

211

Of all of my plants on our deck this is my favorite flower which just happens to be in my favorite pot.

210

This has been my major obsession lately and the movie twilight started it all. I have been glued to the books the entire time we have been in PA. I some how was able to read it on our drive home. On a sad note, before we left for home we received a call that Sean's grandpa died.

209

Gav's way of eating a monster hamburger.

208

July 26
Gav woke up early this morning so instead of waking the entire house we walked the dogs and then we went out to breakfast. By the time we got back everyone was up.

207

July 25

A fun day with family at the Lake house. Gavin by the fire. He did a great job being around the fire and learned that he couldn't get too close. I also enjoyed the short girls trip to the Amish farms, antique store and winery.
