May 30,
Uncle Dan, Aunt Lala, and Kenzie came over for dinner. Gavin is in LOVE with Kenzie. He wants to do everything with her! It was so fun watching the two of the play. She is so great with him.

May 29
I went to a continuing education class about wheel chairs with a few girls from work. I was home by 3 and spent the evening with Sean and Gavin. I love my Boston ferns in my new pots.

May 28
Such a super busy day at work. I got home late with just enough time to eat dinner with Gavin and give him a bath. He still gets a bottle before bed of Step 2 formula in hope to add extra fat and nutrients. I wish I could give it to him in a sippy cup but he drinks more ounces when it is the bottle.

148

May 27
Gavin ate his first slice of pizza. Not a surprised but he loved it. Of course he ate an entire container of blueberries first.

147

May 26
Holy Hummus Hatman! Gavin will start to dip his cucumbers in the hummus and then he decides to just eat the hummus by the handful jamming as much as he can in his mouth at once just using his hands. (Happy Birthday Aunt Carrie!)

146

May 25
Gavin and I walked behind the Memorial Day parade as Sean was in the Squad bringing up the rear in the parade. We met Grandma and Grandpa at the community center and Gavin was able to spend some time with Sean while he was on duty. I love this picture of my boys.

145

May 24
Rajah and Sean sharing some raw corn on the cob. (Yuck, cooked corn is way better, but Sean disagrees.)

144

May 23
Crusing in the Chevy..Gavin spent the morning with Grandma and Grandpa while Sean and I went and looked at house and did a few errands. When Gavin woke up from his nap he helped me plant a bunch flowers in the pots for the patio. It was another beautiful warm day.

143

May 22
Another day that I was scheduled to work and got called off. We have such a low census at work. This is the problem of being PRN. I suppose I will look for another PRN job so I have a back up when this sort of thing happens. I am thankful atleast the weather has been great and I have been playing outside in the backyard alot with Gavin.

142

May 21,
Sean and I worked until 10 pm finishing and cleaning the sun room. Sean has spent a ton of time working on the room, but it looks fabulous. It is my favorite room in the house so super sunny.

141

May 20,
It was warm today and what a better way to end a warm, playful day then a fruit popsicle. Gavin's first popsicle!

140

May 19
Whee! Gavin loves his tree swing!

139

May 18,
oops. While I was at work Sean and his dad were working on finishing the trim in the sunroom and accidentally the globe got hit with the hammer.

May 17,
Happy Birthday Grace! We celebrated Gavin's friend Grace's birthday at the park, but it was only in the 50s! A bit chilly! We had fun. After the party and after Gavin's nap, the three of us went and looked at some houses. Looking for a new house takes way too much time!

137

May 16,
We had a low key day. The weather got cool again. When will it stay nice? It is the middle of May for heaven sakes! Gavin hung out with Nana and Erica while I did a few errands. I picked up this really neat toy for Gavin. It is made all from recycled material and is KID POWERED. NO BATTERIES! The more you push it the more it lights up, makes truck noises, or tells a story depending on what mode it is on. Definitely an AWESOME toy.

May 15
I was home today because there is a low census at work. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed to the zoo for a little while. This is the first time we went to the zoo and Gavin was extremely interactive. He would have at all of the vehicles driving by (the train, the tram, the garbage men) and making all of the different animal noises. He went right up to the goat at the petting zoo without a seconds hesitation. When Sean took him to see the fish in the aquarium, without any prompting Gavin said fish! He is talking soo much!

May 14,
Look what daddy bought Gavin! And Gavin couldn't be more excited. I asked Gav if he wanted to swing. His response was WHEEEE! Have I ever said that I can't get enough of him?

May 13,
Isn't he the cutest? I simply can't get enough of him. We had a blast at the park. He was picking up a worm and laughing. He also discovered that he can run back and forth on the bouncy bridge. He got so much fresh area and ran around so much he took a three hour nap this afternoon and I had to wake him up!

May 12
Could I really give this up? Could I really trade in the tow path for a treadmill? It is one of my favorite aspects about where we live. We walk on this beautiful almost everyday!

132

May 11
We have been searching for a new home while we finish up a few late minute projects around our house. We would really love to be in Independence, however there really isnt anything for sale that we are looking for. Sean went and looked at this property. It is going to be way too difficult to prep the land due to the creek in the middle of the property. We will just keep searching.

May 10
Happy Mama's day! And what a lucky girl I am to be a mama of a sweet sweet little angel baby. I spent my second Mama day with Gavin while Sean was at work. Gavin and I went to church, where for the first time went into the child care room. (Not so bad since Nana was one of the ladies volunteering.) I received a beautiful mother's day ring from Tiffanys. Is this mama spoiled or what? I have two great boys!

May 9,
Delish brunch at Grumpy's in Tremont with Rory, Jim, Gavin, and the two of us. A great morning!

129/365

May 8
We had a great evening with Rory and Jim and friends down on East 4th. Rory lives in the center of the fun and we had a mac and cheese cook off. Yumo followed by very strong Margaritas. We got to see the fireworks from the Indians game. Did I mention the weather was great too? Good food, good friends, good time. And Gavin slept at Nanas!

128/365

May 7
What a beautiful day to have off! I went in for two hours to take my FIM test and then headed home because of low census. Gavin and I had a great day that included a 3.5 mile run on the tow path. Gavin sported his new striped baby legs, which are the greatest invention that I wish I would have discovered them sooner!

127/365

May 6
Sean was sleeping so I decided to take Gavin to visit Papi. Papi has been working afternoons and was complaining that he will never get to see Gavin. Therefore, we let Sean sleep in and went to surprise Papi. Papi went into work early today because he had a class. We went to visit him at the police station. Gavin was a big hit with the dispatchers and Gavin made Papi's day when Gavin gave him big squuezies and laid his head on Papi's shoulder. Gavin decided also to pick up the broom/mop to start cleaning the dirty floor since the police station is not very clean due to fund insufficiencies.

May 4,
Costco day! Shopping day! We got alot of errands done today. We went to Costco for the usual items chicken milk, chicken sausage, bread rounds, and now we have added berries to the usual list. Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries. Gavin could live on them I think and when I buy them from Heinens they last about a day in our house. I can't imagaine if I have two or more I will have to live at Costco! We also were able to getting a wedding shower gift, two mother's day gift, and a 1 year old birthday gift at Beachwood mall. We were productive!

125

May 4
After work today, Gavin and I went for a walk and played outside. One aspect that I love about where we live, is that we live close to Sean's work. This allows Sean to briefly stop home to see us when he is on shift. Today Gavin and I were waiting outside for him.

124

May 3
My mess. My room. This has become my favorite room in the house. This is my studio which has also turned into where I keep my workout equipment too. Since Gavin has been born and now that I am not studying for any tests, I really have gotten back into scrapping. Meaning my room even though I clean up after each project, always looks like a tornado went through. It is fine by me because it means I am using the space!

123

May 2,
After working today, I met my mom, Aurelija and her to sister to look for dresses for the wedding. Aurelija found her wedding dress. Sean Gavin and I went to dinner at the cheese cake factory with Bruce, Samantha and their kiddos. We walked around Legacy Village and had a good time! Gavin and Ethanna like playing at the best book store on the planet...Ohio owned Josepth Beth.

122/365

May 1,
Malakai making himself cozy on the couch even though I prefer no animals on the couch!

121/365

April 30,
We had a crew come over today to go over wedding invitations for my brother. While we did this Gavin and Anthony played cars, such a boy thing!

120/365

April 29,
Gavin and I, while Sean worked on the sunroom went to meet Christi and Grace at the Brecksville library. They had a ton of fun even though Gavin likes to run around and make every animal noise he knows. They both were very entertained by the four year old boy playing with the puppets.

119/365

April 28,
Today was our appointment with the Rainbow peds cardiologist. He was fantastic. He was great with Gavin and did not seem to mind that Gavin is our go-go man as Aunt Carrie calls him. Unfortunately the same can not be said for the technician who did the echo. Some people just should not work with peds! However, after an ECG, an Echo and 120 minutes later, Gavin has a heart murmur but a normal one meaning his heart function is not compromised and works the ways it should!

118/365

April 27
When I pulled into the driveway from work, Sean and the little guy were waiting for me. What a great way to go home after a hectic day at work!

117/365

April 26
We had another great warm day today. We went to Columbia Station with Dan LaLa and Kenzie to Columbia Station for lunch. We ate at Clemitine's this sweet tea shop with good food. We went for a hike nearby and spent the rest of the day at their house. We went for a walk around their development. There are a few houses going up for sale that we might go look at. Sheila made a yumo stir fry for dinner. What a fantastic weekend!

April 25
What a busy, beautiful, balmy day! Sean was at work and I dropped Gavin at Nana's at 7 am. Christi and I went out to Avon Lake for our first baby resale. I was so glad that I went with her, it was a little overwhelming. Some Mamas are crazy! I did not have much luck, but Christi found great dresses for Grace. After I went for a run with Rory on the tow path. Not a great idea to run at noonish on a almost 90 degree day! Next I headed over to Lauren's wedding shower. Then I went to pick up the Gav man. He had a great day outside with Nana visiting Gigi and playing at the park with Anthony. We had a great rest of the day hanging out at home. Gavin loves his Rajah bear. She is super tolerate of him even when he gives her bear hugs!
