Feb 23
After work today, Gavin and I reading books in his tent. I love that the days I work, I really make sure that the time I spend with him is meaningful. I hope Gavin is always interested in books and loves to read like his mama.

Sean and an almost 12 year old Rajah. She is such a great dog and I have truly come to appreciate her especially this year with Gavin. She is so good with him. She is a dog who can't stand to be in trouble. She will put her ears back and give you sad eyes until you tell her everything is okay! We love the time we have with her.

Feb 21
Gavin and I went to Nana and Papi's house to visit family. Aunt Denise and her lovely crew came to visit and we celebrated Dominic's first birthday. Dom turned one on February 13! Here is a picture of my cousin Chris and I holding onto our babies. They are 6 weeks apart. I love when Dominic and Gavin are together!javascript:void(0)

After each nap today, Sean found a very happy Gavin playing in his crib. (He usually will fuss until someone comes and gets him and then we get big smiles.) Not only was he happy, but sockless and pantless. He is starting to like to take his clothes off! If only it wasn't so cold...

Sean and Gavin are home today while I go to work. Gavin is sportin some cute but not very functional kicks! I was in acute care today. I always love a change of pace and learning new stuff. After work today, I was suppose to meet up with a few friends, but it turned into just Rory and I meeting for dinner. I did not get to see GAvin much today, but it was great to catch up with Rory.

Today is a Mama and Gavin day. We did alot of visiting. We went to Mimi and Papa's and Gavin was dancing with Mimi to some very old music. He also enjoyed climbing up their steps. In the evening time we went and visited Nana and Papi. Just another day I did not want to be in the house! I am getting cabin fever!

I hit a wall today. I just did not want to be in the house today. So the three of us went shopping. I got some great deals from Old Navy for Gavin next winter and I got a pair of Yoga pants. After Gavin's afternoon nap, we met up with Uncle Dan, Aunt LaLa, and Kenzie for dinner. It has been way too long since we seen them. Aunt Lala and Kenzie took Gavin to see the fountain in the Mexican restaurant. Gavin loves them both and is soo fascinated with Mackenzie.

Gavin is a really smiley baby and very personable. He loves people! So I find it funny when he gets sad because it is such a rare occasion. I actually was able to get a picture! He was upset because his nap was too short. He is like his mama that way. Look out if we don't get the sleep we need!

Feb 15,
Wendi and I were finally able to coordinate our schedules to get the boys together. We have not gotten them together since July! How crazy is that? They both will be 1 next month. Time goes by so fast!

It is the Daddys' turn to take Grace and Gavin swimming. I just love watching Sean and Gavin interact and I got to catch up a little with Christi! They did a great job!

Gavin is really loving Rajah. Probably because she tolerates him well. She lets him crawl all over her, pull up on her and take her baby. They play a really cute game. Gavin takes her baby, then gives it back to her and Rajah takes it. They will do this for several minutes. He also gives her kisses and ends up with a mouthful of hair, but he loves to give her kisses. She is not such a big bad Rottie. Now if only we could get Malakai to stay still long enough...

Feb 11,
So Gavin's new favorite game is to pull out all of the tissues out of the tissue box and start to rip them into pieces. Apparently we left the tissue box within Gavin's reach...

Look out, Daddy's coming for a kiss. Kisses are only for mama!!! Just kidding. We had a fun day just hanging out together. We were able to go on two walks today and we went to the park. It was in the 50s today.

Still Recovering from being sick this weekend but I finally was able to eat food around lunch time today. We took a small walk to the park after lunch to get some sunshine. Gavin swung on the swing and loved it! Afterwards Gavin and I took a long nap! My energy really hasn't returned yet.

I am glad to have the boys back home. I am feeling better, but I have no energy and no appetite. Sean Gavin and I watched the Cavs lose to the Lakers. (Sean got super mad) It was a very quiet day at home. I slept a good portion of the day again.

Last night I got super sick with the flu something I am sure I picked up from the hospital. So this is where I stayed all day long. ON the couch. Sean had to work a 48 hour shift so thankfully my mom picked Gavin up Friday night and is keeping him until Sunday morning when Sean will pick him up.

Gavin playing in his ducky bath. He loves the bath and loves stuffing as many toys as he can in the little bath with him.

Feb 5
Papi stopped by this evening to play with Gavin. Papi got to see Gavin take some steps and build blocks with him. One of Gavin's favorite games right now is to knock down blocks.

This has been two maybe even three Wednesdays in a row where we have been snowed in! At least this time Sean was home with us. We spent most of the day playing with Gavin. Not too much was really accomplished today. We were going to go to Costco but that will just have to wait because there is way too much snow on the streets.

Feb 3
I have a wondeful room dedicated to scrapbooking although it is a little cold in there this time of year. (Nothing a small area heater doesn't fix.) However I have moved this little cart into the family room and have been doing my scrapbooking here. It is not the easiest place to scrapbook and it makes a mess. I have way too much scrapbooking gear so I continue go back into my room looking for the right accents. So why am I scrapping here? First I have been doing alot more scrapping because I am trying to Gavin first year album done by his birthday (me and my lofty goals) plus this allows me to spend time with Sean while he is watching basketball in the family room.

On a side note I went to see Dr. Rakowsky today. Dr. R is the fabulous doctor who made my rib pain go away when I was pregnant. (Gavin kindly displaced my rib) I have decided that I will see her atleast once a year for spine and muscle checkup. Alass, as I suspected breastfeeding has not been kind to my back, but seeing her always makes it better. For any of you who don't know about muscle energy technique, you must experience it! Find your nearest D.O. or Physical Therapist who specialize in it. It is a great wholistic "medicine".

FEB 2,
Groundhog Day, aka my birthday! Happy birthday to me. First thing in the am I got a wonderful birthday surprise from my two sweet nephews in Florida. They called to sing Happy Birthday! It was so nice. There were alot of good pictures today so it was hard to pick just one, but I went with a more non traditional picture. Gavin is currently into watching Sean and I kiss. He even gets a little jealous sometimes. ;o) As I turn 28, I feel so blessed to get to love these two boys for the rest of my life. (oh it is also nice not to have a big belly like last birthday!)

FEB 1
Heat wave people, HEAT WAVE! Okay perhaps a little exaggeration, but the high today was 45 and compared to negative digits it really is a heat wave. Of course, we had to take advantage. We walked twice today which has not happened in sooo long. OH and did I mention there was sunshine too? We all sucked up the vitamin D. Sean wore Gavin because the tow path still has about 8-12 inches of snow but the dogs had alot of fun. I can't wait for spring!
